Les Terrasses de l’Arago, Elecció Rouge 2018
A seemingly simple Syrah and Grenache blend has lead to this rather bold but fruity wine. The wine is well balanced and is an excellent value-for-money red.

Tasting Notes:
Elecció ([ələksio] Catalan for “choice”) is the choice of a wine that, although fruity, expresses very well the elegancy of our terroir through intense aromas of freshly picked red berries and pepper. The wine is youthful with pronounced aromas of cherry, blackberry, strawberry, and baking spice. On the palate, the wine offers medium acidity and brightness.
Gastronomy:
Simple beef dishes, like burgers or BBQ, will be the first choice as a food pairing. Alternatively, veal or lamb stew would just as well.
Vineyards:
On the Pyrenean foothills, the Agly valley offers some of the most beautiful clay-limestone terroirs of Roussillon.
Ageing method:
Obtained by 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels.
