As an iconic white blend from Bordeaux, the wine delivers in all aspects. It is a pleasant wine that is balanced in terms of fruit, acidity, body, and finish.
Characteristics
Tasting Notes:
A typical Bordeaux white wine with golden yellow and silvery reflections, that provides everything you expect from a well-made wine. The nose is exceptionally expressive with notes of exotic fruits, citrus fruits, grapefruit notes. The palate provides an abundance of fruit and mineral, balanced acidity, dry and round, which add a lingering finish.
Gastronomy:
Particularly recommended to accompany the tasting of oysters produced all along the coast, it will also advantageously embellish all your fish, crustaceans and shellfish. Delicious as an aperitif.
Vineyards:
Located between the right bank of the Garonne to the south and the left bank of the Dordogne to the north, the Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux region benefits from particularly varied microclimates and very mild oceanic conditions. The vineyard has clayey-sandy-gravelly soil type.
The wine is a blend of 30% Sémillon and 70% Sauvignon Blanc from 25 years old, which results in a crisp wine with some structure. These exceptional conditions for the vines allow the development of a very fragrant dry white wine, rather light, fruity, lively with sometimes exotic touches.
Ageing method:
Settling of the lees, fermentation for 15 days. Aged in oak barrels.
