Being one of the best ever produced by the estate, this wine is only produced when the vintage considered exceptional and is often a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Shiraz. This is also a great “”heavy wines”” selection for starter. It earns on a couple more years in the cellar and should be decanted before serving.

Tasting Notes:
On the nose is the richness and expressive notes of blackberry and currant. The palate is equally powerful with leather notes, grippy tannins and a long finish. It earns on a couple more years in the cellar and should be decanted before serving.

Gastronomy:
Well-paired with red meat dishes including beef, lamb and pork.

Vineyards:
The vineyards lack limestone but have generous amounts of clay with adds minerality. The Mistral contributes to the concentration of the grapes and the ability to grow pesticide-free grapes.

Neutral tank and oak barrels
